Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage Announces Acquisition of Benevia, Incorporates Company Into Portfolio of Relocation Related Services

New business group extends company focus to serve the unique transition and relocation needs of the aging demographic. 

SEATTLE, Wash. – February 23, 2009 – It was announced today that Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage, has completed a successful acquisition of Benevia, the area’s leading coordinator of services for older adults and their families. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Benevia, based in Seattle, is a strategic addition to the portfolio of relocation-related companies owned by Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage. The current portfolio includes PortaBox (portable storage), HB Auctions (live auctions), and AliaWorks (move management service). 

Larry Nelsen, Owner and CEO of Hansen Bros.
